Our History
The band began as an idea in 2004 between current members Alex Urban and Ryan Durner. Members began to join the unofficial
band in '04, but it was not until early 2005 that the band first gathered and was officially formed. The original band lineup
was decided upon, with Ben Wibberley as lead singer, four guitarists including James Constans, Eric Smith, Ryan Durner, and
David DeVine, and Alex Urban playing bass guitar. The band soon readjusted, however, with Ben Wibberley and David DeVine alternating
as vocalists, James Constans, Eric Smith, and Ryan Durner playing guitar, Alex Urban playing bass, and Ryan Wiens playing
piano. After finally aquiring a drummer, Adam French, the band was complete. After a few practices, the name "Lockbox", inspired
by a Saturday Night Live skit of Al Gore, was nominated by Alex Urban and then unanimously agreed upon by the group. Eric
Smith is no longer in the band as he is attending college at Cedarville University.
